They are all Kang. Well, Nathaniel.lol They didn't. Technically.

No, he goes around looking like a Doctor Who villain, with a giant TV for a head.

Yes, of course. And we know there are going to be many versions of him.Not the one we saw.
Yep. We are about to witness the war of the Kang variants. Well that, or we are about to live in the world where the worst variant won.No, they did. Much like Sylvie is Loki, He Who Remains is Kang. They are both the same person, just variants of one another.

I thought Kang was supposed to have blue skin.
I thought Kang was supposed to have blue skin.
Well that was epic!
I really thought it was going to be King Loki to fit the narrative and theme but actually in the end they made Kang (or his variant) make total sense and actually created the best conflict between Sylvie and Loki. It just worked.
So excited to see Kang introduced to the MCU and he must surely be the next big bad after that. I can't see his only other appearance being in Ant-Man 3, I reckon different versions of him will pop up in several films and shows.
My guess is this all leads to an Avengers film where Kang takes centre stage, before it leads to an utimate phase 4/5 finale of Secret Wars, which is about one of the only stories they could tell that could get close to the scale of Infinity War/Endgame.
LOVED the cliffhanger too! Bring on series 2!
I went into this with low expectations and still came out deeply underwhelmed. This finale was almost entirely exposition. Literally a guy behind a desk telling us why the show exists. The implications set up at the end of the show are more interesting than anything that happened throughout the runtime of the show itself.
So we still don’t know what the “King Loki in Asgard” footage is all about. I wonder if it was actually part of Sylvie’s nexus event.
This season seemed to be all set up for the next phase. While the acting and new characters were all great, they clearly weren’t going for a self contained story with neat ending this season.I really loved the episode but I agree with you. Honestly this should have been episode 5, setting up for an action packed episode 6 finale. I was really underwhelmed with last week’s episode since I felt it didn’t move things along enough for a season that has just 6 episodes to begin with.
…someone finally brought the charisma and horror to the MCU ala Ledger’s Joker.Kang The Jerk.
