So chances Luke trains him with sabre?
And speculation even further into the future
It's the gift of chain mail armor that will one day save Grogu from being killed by Kylo Ren

Oh...

OHHHH...

I like that.

Yeah, the end of Mando S2 was bitter sweet, as it fulfilled Mando's quest to reunite Grogu with his kind. And that is where Grogu chose to go.
While we also got to see the positive strong willed, hopeful Luke we all remembered,
Yet it also implied by way of Disney's future and the complete failed Luke they envisioned, that leaving Grogu with him, would actually lead to his inevitable slaughter.

I'm wondering if the little "package" Mando is delivering, is FavRoni's way to proactively circumvent that implied failed future, and implant a more recognizably overt out for little Grogu.
And thus lend towards a much more hopeful and positive fulfillment, of Mando's quest.:cwink:

That future implication is definitely how I'm reading this new gift.

I do really enjoy the sequel connections and references in Mando / BOBF, but
we're still 19 years away from Ben / Kylo destroying the temple. He is three years old at this point. Lots of things could change in the next 19 years. :D

Yeah, plenty of time to
decide that the entire sequel trilogy was just a bad Dark Side induced nightmare that Luke had one time, not a thing which actually happened.
:p

Or at the very least, make good on some of its missed opportunities, I'd love to see shows that actually show us Luke's Jedi Order, the New Republic, and the origins of the First Order/Final Order. And if they decide to slightly retcon the massacre and have a small group of Jedi that escaped, all the better.

Perhaps it is time that Star Wars embrace a...multiverse. So that we could side step certain events...:hehe:

I assure you, the current state of the post ROTJ timeline is not in some dismal, unsalvagable state. Look what was done with the prequels. No, the issue is the current obsession with movies and tv shows to expand the universe.

I want a Flashback to a Tarre Vizla building the Darksaber in a cave.

He would naturally be played by RDJ

They need to keep this convo going.
Is she Rook Kast?

Her being Rook makes almost TOOO much sense.

WHAT if we get all three this week?

Her being Rook makes almost TOOO much sense.
I thought her and Mando go way back and we know their helmet rule does too. Rook was still taking off her helmet in the Clone Wars era and not doing Children of the Watch stuff. If she joined the covert much later it's not entirely impossible, but I find it a bit unlikely tbh.

Wow they did it.
The Lone wolf and Cub choice.

Although if I were FavRoni, i'd have Grogu put the two together and choose both! .

And Luke allowing it.

Luke's "Instinct" which Ahsoka presumably recognizes, was never following Jedi dogma, but choosing his own path, never giving up on the connection to his loved ones, friends, sister, father, and saved his father by allowing him that choice again, and letting him reconnect with what he loved. And by that, brought about the Return of the Jedi, his way.
That's the Luke coming out of ROTJ.

Although Disney's future Luke is a complete failure, who instead followed and was a slave to Jedi Dogma, and books, and who betrayed all his own learned experience and instinct,

So who knows where they are going.

That said, episode was fantastic, a cavalcade of awesome pulling from all over, and combining it wonderfully.:yay:

I guess I'll be pondering this all morning.
Knowing Lucas slightly modeled Bane on Lee Van Cleef, now I can't help but imagine a Good the Bad the Ugly - "Ecstasy of Gold" "Triple Duel" epic stand off, with Djarin, Fett and Bane.

As the Yoby looks on.
LoL did that one way back before Boba Fett or Bane arrived on the show. I guess it was fair to imagine way back then.
Although two are now somewhat on the same side (actually parallels Blondie & Tuco) , all the players have finally arrived.

Redid it with the new art....

Edit:
Although I know by design Bane(Burton invoking VanCleef) should be The Bad, and that by default makes Fett ((Morrison the Ugly), couldn't bring myself to it.:funny:

If it makes it easier, The Ugly/Tuco is easily the best character in the movie.

Since Grogu was with Luke briefly, I think what he got from Luke was his memories unlocked. He will gradually remember more about his training, like Cal Kestis in Jedi Fallen Order. Or maybe Din will see the value in Grogu continuing his training and reach out to Ahsoka or another Jedi.
