Pathetic, cowardly, and disgusting.
i said this in the Flash forum but i still think Zaslov and the WBD are HOPING this whole thing will boil over since we still have a full year before the movie comes out and Ezra at some point issues a public statement about their side of the story and whats been going on with them in hopes garnering some public empathy. That way WBD can have their cake and eat it too, release the movie next year, make some money and then fire Ezra and start fresh after.
Child predator ain't something that goes away
This is the key thing. It’s a consistent and regular pattern of behaviour at this stage. They are going to be in the news for some new incident every few days for something or other.Definitely not. Also, there is nothing in their behavior to suggest there aren't just going to be more incidents. I'd say it is far more likely for this to get worse rather than go away.
They should get that dude from the new season of stranger things to play Barry moving forward
Eddie Munster or whatever his name is
Yeah, once they made troll posts after months of chaos, you can't have any faith they won't continue this destructive path.Definitely not. Also, there is nothing in their behavior to suggest there aren't just going to be more incidents. I'd say it is far more likely for this to get worse rather than go away.
You would think a media company would draw the line at having pedophiles and/or rapists in its orbit. But then again this is the same Hollywood that let Bryan Singer party on for years, so there’s that.
I don't understand how anyone could think that this would just stop and go away when the first major public incident happened two years ago. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if there have been countless more during the last two years that we just haven't heard about because of lockdowns and such.Definitely not. Also, there is nothing in their behavior to suggest there aren't just going to be more incidents. I'd say it is far more likely for this to get worse rather than go away.
The problem is that the more wealth and success these predators achieve, the more their perceived sense of privilege and entitlement grows. They think the law - not to mention general rules of decency and humanity - no longer apply to them.
This is why I don't advocate for sympathy towards someone like Miller. If the reports are true, and they are indeed taunting and eluding the police, that suggests to me that they are fully aware of exactly what they're doing and what the implications could be. They simply don't give a ****.
And I agree, Hollywood creates an environment of secrecy that allows the Spaceys and the Millers and the Singers and the Weinsteins to thrive. Nobody is above the law and nobody has the right to cause physical and/or emotional harm to another person, regardless of an imbalance in power. And when a minor is involved, that is just too disgusting and repulsive for words.
I'm starting to agree, WBD should just shove this ****storm of a movie into the vault and move on. To hell with releasing or reshooting it. Just take the write-down and call it a day. After all, WBD is a large enough company that they will survive. This isn't a Heaven's Gate/Unite Artists scenario. Disney took a $200 million write-down on John Carter alone, albeit under very different circumstances...
WBD needs to dump Flash and publicly divorce themselves from Miller. Never mind PR, it's the just, right, moral, and decent thing to do at this point.

The path Miller is taking right now can only lead them being locked up by the time the film comes rolling around. Their behavior has only gotten worse. Try marketing a film where the lead is in jail.
