Well it seems like they treat the event pictures as Avengers like End Game had everyone so I guess SW could easily still have everyone too....but only time will tell

Well as impressive as Phase 5 and Phase 6 sounds like and FINALLY glad Fantastic 4 is coming at last 11/8/24, I still can't believe that it sure looks like Kang is THE threat for Secret Wars...I mean Doom may be closing out Phase 4 with his possible appearance in BPWF, and I'm sure he will be sprinkled throughout other projects but I am worried he is going to be a "minor threat " or worse...giving Kang Doom's Definitive moment pisses me off...Kang is a great character but SW needs to be Dooms

I feel like they’re rushing Secret Wars and it will probably only be loosely based on the comics.

I’d rather see them build Doom into something huge, slowly, over time than overuse him too early, but let’s see.

I feel like they're setting up kang to be overtaken by Doom. Remember we will have seen kang in Antman and variants of him in loki and possibly other places. Having Doom work in the background only to steal Kangs thunder by the end of the kang dynasty could be cool. And secret wars could just be the beginning of Dooms presence in the MCU.

That is what I am kind of hoping happens...have Kang do all the work if you will only to have Doom's machinations show just how incredible he can be and what kind of threat he is...Majors will fall...and whomever is playing Doom will rise and ultimately Battleworld will bow to its God Emperor....

My only concern is them being able to properly build Doom up in time to pull that off. But Doom swooping in to stop Kang and justify his conviction that "The Only World Where We Survive Is One Where Doom Rules All" would be great.

You know , its not too far fetched to think they might go that route...on top of that, there are 8 mystery dates for Phase 6 that could be filled with a Doom show in the thick of the F4's release and the build up to Secret Wars. Further if Doom does make his Wakanda Forever debut like rumored, then they can build him up between shows and film in Phase 5, an obvious appearance in Fantastic 4 starting Phase 6, the possible Doom show could be a phase 6 projects...show up in Kang Dynasty and end Kang....then set up his God Emperor Doom role in Secret Wars....ok I am probably dreaming but still as a Doom fanatic, one can dream....

I had the feeling that Doom would be around after Secret Wars too. I think he’s going to be a very long term villain like Loki.

when i see “The Avengers” title i take that to mean Marvel Studios Crossover movie. Since Guardians of the galaxy, Spidey, and the rest of the MCU cast pre Fox merger were part of the Infinity War Endgame saga. I think it is safe to assume everyone who is anyone will be part of Secret War. Including Adam Warlock, Deadpool, Fantastic Four, She Hulk, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Blade, Ghost Rider, Thunderbolts, and yes possibly even the X MEN.

Yeah, I've felt that this is ideal for a while. It let's them cover Doom's story in detail without taking up space in the F4 movie, and cements him as a BIG DEAL right off the bat.

I guess they could then set the series in the past - Maybe say that he took back control of Latveria during the 5 Year Gap? We've yet to get any media set then, so that could be really cool, and would make sense as the inciting incident for Doom's rise.

since Wakanda and now Atlantis are both ancient civilizations that have long existed, and have only recently resurfaced to the 616 earth, one could also make Latveria another secret underground nation, similar to the Ten Rings even, except located in Eastern Europe. That is simple enough. The real challenge for Feige is how do you explain the existence of the Four? Are they re-emerging or are they newly born?

Well I have never watched that show but all my friends rave about it and they say

The Homelander is a very good character and that Starr is a great actor. We shall see.

I get them wanting a big name, but it sure would be a shame if they didn't nab an Eastern Europe actor for the role.

This is now the third role he's been rumored for (Wolverine, Dracula and now this), so I have my doubts. Just sounds like wishful fancasting.

With all that said, Starr is absolutely astonishing in The Boys and would kill it as Doctor Doom.

Doom is THE Marvel villain.

Feige and others have to realize that, and hopefully they’ll put the appropriate effort into him.

if I were Feige, I’d use Doom as the “skeleton” for the next 10 years and fill the details in around him.
