I agree there were a few moments that I'd definitely have let the emotions of the moment breathe more, the final destruction of Asgard being one along with Odin and the warriors three, although I can see what he was going for with first in the typical grandiose platitude and then nope but it didn't quite work. Hopefully that will be the case in this film.
DC vs Marvel will continue on with whatever film- there's also a few people snarking about Iron Man Jr 3 starting production soon. But this film does seem to have come in for a bit of a battering in certain quarters. Possibly due to the previous films "rivalry", maybe because the premise is so unusual, it features Jane who has previously been "just a random love interest" and people thought Natalie had dumped the franchise nearly a decade ago, the fact that Thor was a dying part of the MCU that manged to reinvent itself to a place where they could go even crazier like this etc
