Can someone explain to me why Wonder Woman 84 moved back 7 months again?
A certain small sequel coming out, among other films in a crowded November.

3 weeks away
If this year proved anythingIt's not the only movie that was coming out. November 2019 is a very crowded month as it is.

...it also grossed to ~300 dom by the 3rd week (strong AND fast legs), so I'm not sure what you're getting atThe first Wonder Woman actually largely profited from having strong legs at the box office. It opened to a good but not spectacular 103 million, but then proceeded to have phenomenal repeat viewing thanks to strong word of mouth and positive reviews, similar to what we're now seeing with Aquaman (Albeit with a much larger international haul before it even opened here).

if I follow people's perceived franchise fatigue,That they made a decision and saw that it was gonna be a crowded marketplace that would prevent it from having a similar box office run, and moved it accordingly. Like I just said, the first Wonder Woman benefitted greatly from a month that had very little competition for it. It was basically Cars 3 and not much else until Despicable Me 3. By contrast, right off the bat November 2019 has a number of big films coming out, some of which are also aimed at the same audience demo.

Those are the outliers. A sub 500m grossing mainstream superhero flick is now an outlier. You don't know until the films are out. Nobody in their right mind thought a sequel to Jumanji was gonna come close to crushing a billion at the box office, and it did. That's why WB played it safe rather than sorry.

I dont mean to hate but... I STILL need someone to explain to me how Jumanji did that well. The movie was FINE. It was fun and disposable but I didnt find anything particularly remarkable about it.
It's so check-boxy, this and Black Panther made me realize what goes in to these massive hits to appeal to as many as possible. Heck, I was even checking if Welcome to the Jungle would have some music/dance component with Karen Gilliam *shy girl has to learn to flirt moment* while I was watching and low behold the scene came.I don't mean to hate but... Of course it does, because it so happens that a mainstream superhero flick like WW should be more sure-fired against/alongside that competition. And that doesn't really have anything to do with what I said, because all it takes is one outlier breaking out big, and now you have less money than you potentially could've gotten. In its current 2020 release slate, it's now got pretty little to deal with other than Maleficent II the week before and then the new Top Gun at the end of the month. It's not a surprise that they moved to a less crowded month like June when it worked out so well for them in the first place.

They need Tom Rothman.Should doesn't always mean will, which is why it was moved. It's really not that hard.
I thought it was really great all the way till the too-convenient ending. Hard to stop watching once you start.
bruh, the number of movies in general...2017 here we go againI don’t know what ol 2019 is gonna hold for us in regards to all this comic book movie jazz, but I do know that I’m very grateful that I’m gonna be spending it with all you great guys and gals out there
Much love to all of you out there, hope you ring in the new year in the best way possible!
