Apple Pie is the best. No other pie beats it.

My pumpkin is stronger. It is the everlasting pie! Your pie lives beneath it.

Just watched this and started to notice big time at the final battle how the road was real but everything else was fake. It was pretty obvious

Congrats to The Avengers for winning Movie of the Year at the MTV Movie Awards.

The first film in years that isn't a Twilight film to win it.

Yes massive congrats to Avengers!!! So happy with Avengers sweeping the MTV awards!! I voted a lot for the Avengers in each category. Such a deserving film and glad to see and hear from Whedon too.

I guess thats cool...I still don't care for the MTV movie awards at all though. :p

So, I guess Avengers did it's job by getting teenage girl's butts in the seats, huh? All that eye candy for the women can do wonders sometimes. Hey Whedon, want the next movie to break mega BO records, get scenes in with the Chris's without their shirts on!

Thank god a Twilight movie didn't win it. So glad there aren't any more movies.

The overall show was actually tough to sit through to be honest. Was anything funny at all???

Anyway, it was worth it to see the wins. Tom Hiddleston was great and the good natured guy we fans have all come to know through his Avengers PR. Speaking of PR, I do wish he had mentioned Thor The Dark World while talking about Loki. Check out more Loki in November or something like that instead the dog talk. I'm sure Kevin Fiege was thinking the exact same thing.

Joss was great accepting best movie as well.

Shirtless works. Tight pants works even better. :word:

I said this in another thread but I'll say it here: good to see people are recognizing this as the movie of the year, even if it is just the MTV movie awards. Sure the 'golden popcorn' or whatever doesn't mean all that much, but since the winners are picked by popular votes it means most people liked this over any other movie this year, as they should have :woot:
Whedon did a great job accepting the award, and it's good to hear he gave a shout out to the VFX artist's.

Yes considering the Twilight movies always seem to win these things, having Avengers win and Hiddleston get recognized as best villain I think is huge.

I do still need to watch the awards show itself (thank goodness for DVR where I can buzz through the boring/stupid stuff and get to what I want to see), but yeah... this was the first MTV MA's that I've actually looked forward to for the past few years simply because Twilight wasn't nominated for anything major and instead only had the 'best shirtless' scene. I admit I also take a bit of sadistic pleasure in the fact that Twihards weren't able to get Kristen Stewart a win for Best Hero (for Snow White & the Huntsman) either. Granted, I would've preferred Iron Man, Hulk or even Batman to win that one (I initially was voting for Iron Man myself) but when it became clear that all the other nominees were being left in the dust and the army of Ringers seemed the most likely to give Twihards a run for their money, I threw my weight in with them and Voted Bilbo (with the occasional IronMan & Hulk hashtag thrown in as well)...and I do love Bilbo as a hero, he might not have been my first pick for "best" but I'm happy with the result.
