That's not playing the game. Instead of altering one or two words, you completely rewrote my entire sentence into a personal insult. Which means I touched a nerve of truth.

You're the Joker and yet the joke went right over your head

I'll let you into a little secret. The Joker is a fictional character. I'm not really him. I'm just a regular guy who chose that username. Ssssshhhh keep it to yourself.

Meanwhile I actually am Batman. Don't tell anyone. :sly:

Man he made his account almost 20 years ago. I guess he'd have to, to snag that username.

Just like Batman of the comics, he's been around a long time.

Speaking of which, today is the anniversary of Batman's very first appearance in Detective Comics #27, released on March 30th 1939. Batman is officially 79 years old.

Weird they don't have 'Batman Day' land on his birthday.

Its stupidity.

At the end of BvS you had Frank Miller's Batman, and you wanted to take him to a more balanced, lighter place. The logical place to go was Grant Morrison's Batman. Serious and dark, yet with a touch of levity and wackyness.

The thing they shouldnt have done is go full camp...which they did.

Camp? Where?

But that smile, for that character, with his history is absolutely camp.

Here's a palate clenser

Batman wearing shades is just such a ****ing cool concept, and I'm surprised it hasnt been done much before. It just looks so badass.

I'm still left to wonder if they were ever meant to light up like with the mech suit

I dont think they were meant to light up, but Wilkinson did say they were meant to reflect off light to give that white eyes effect. So maybe with Snyder/Wagner's lighting and cinematography, there were scenes where we got to see that. Would be awesome, imagine Batman coming out of the darkness and the first thing we see is the white eyes. Hnnngh.

I love how he has the white eyes in that shot.

Also, I just realized from the shot posted above, he already had the lenses down over his eyes in the flying fox. Remember in the scene with the Batmobile where we see him push them down over his eyes? Seems like that particular close up shot was a reshoot.

I doubt it. We know he doesn't have them over his eyes when the League steps out of the fox. We know that shot isn't reshoots because it was way before they began. It was attached to the very first official trailer.

We also saw BTS footage of Snyder demonstrating how Affleck should push them down over his eyes, while they both sit in the cockpit together.

Really? That's odd then. So he gets out of the flying fox, then tells the team to go without him, goes back into the flying fox where we know he has them on right before he turns the switch but later we see him in the Batmobile pulling them down just as the Batmobile jumps out. So I guess either continuity issue or mismatch with reshoots.

He flips the switch before they get off, not after. Also, he pushes them over his eyes while he's piloting the fox, right before shooting a hole through the force field around Steppenwolf's base and entering through said hole. Once he's in, he shoots the tower and the shield again from the inside and then after the fox crashes, the batmobile shoots out and he drives off.
