I'd be up for this.
Just finished S2 of The Punisher, what a deliciously ultra-violent season!! I don't know if I'm alone in this and I don't care, but there was something about the pace of this season that made it all flow so fluently and steadily; I think pace wise, this is probable the best of the Marvel/Netflix shows, never too much, never too slow, just a perfect rhythm all the way through, and except for literally a couple of things here and there (on the technical level; a music cue here, a wonky camera movement there), I'd call it close to perfection and up there with DD.
Question for those who finished already...
In the trailer for the season, there's a shot of someone - presumably Frank - burning a Presidential pardon, but I don't recall seeing that during the season, did I miss it or was it just left out?? I think if anything it would've happen at the very end of the season, it seems to fit there.
That's why it was disappointing to hear Johns talking about how the movies should be more hopeful as if he isn't responsible for some of the darker stories in DC comics. Barry's mother was alive until Johns got the book. How many GL's died during his run? He wrote Blackest Night. He turned the heroic Superboy Prime and Earth-2 Superman into villains in Infinite Crisis and had Earth-2 Lois die. He killed off Jonathan Kent. That's just off the top of my head.
And this isn't even a criticism of these stories, just that he writes some dark or heavy stuff too.
He's also writing Doomsday Clock which, if you stopped it at this point in the story, would seem like it was solely a mess up, dark reality. Sound familiar?
Ugh I'm still only at episode 7 of The Punisher and I don't think I'll manage to progress further this week
He was also responsible for making Jennifer Walters lose control of the She-Hulk and turning her to a rage filled monster hunted by her team the more Jennifer worried. That's why it was disappointing to hear Johns talking about how the movies should be more hopeful as if he isn't responsible for some of the darker stories in DC comics. @Kane52630
Gaspar Noe CLIMAX leaked. I got mines before that link was deleted, but i'm sure you can still find a way. lol
I will still pay for my ticket online tho, so I don't feel guilty.
That bad?
He also killed off Conner Kent.He was also responsible for making Jennifer Walters lose control of the She-Hulk and turning her to a rage filled monster hunted by her team the more Jennifer worried.
Movies are a different story, they should be more optimistic and established before getting into the chance to become darker
Was that New Earth or New 52?He also killed off Conner Kent.
If only WB had stuck it out with Zack a little longer, we could've had fun and cool moments like thisWonder Woman and Superman killing poor Billy/Shazam, smh
Psychos!! Pure evil, that's why we won't have MoS2 ever! Karma
man, lil' ol' Mad Max Batman did quite the number on peopleIf only WB had stuck it out with Zack a little longer, we could've had fun and cool moments like this
Like Damaged Man killing Lois 'The Key' Lane. and then Superman proceeding to kill Morbius the Living Joker. Would've been grand. Thanks a lot, normies.
just as long as Jared Leto's Joker got killed and forgotten about, I would've been ok with whatever injustice type thing they may or may not have been going for.man, lil' ol' Mad Max Batman did quite the number on people
This crazy clown is an even better disappearing act than any onscreen Batman. He'll go down with an exploding choppa and leave no trace.just as long as Jared Leto's Joker got killed and forgotten about, I would've been ok with whatever injustice type thing they may or may not have been going for.
however, my only disappointment with superman murdering joker over batman would've been all the indirect manslaughter bats was responsible for even before the whole hypothetical knightmare scenario, but the worst thing he did in response to the crazy clown who killed his adoptive son was knock all his teeth out
at least make it consistent is all I'm sayin!
One can only hopeThis crazy clown is an even better disappearing act than any onscreen Batman. He'll go down with an exploding choppa and leave no trace.

This trash is next on my list of movies to watch. I'll watch this before watching the better Assault on Arkham film.
