The Mandalorian The Mandalorian: General Thread

I dunno, the crash landing stuff was new. Cara Dune piloting the Imperial mobile transport with Karga and the Myhtrol alien was new.

Id like to have Katie and Bo Katan in the show at some point. I've gotta know how she ****ed up and let an Imperial Moff get his slimy hands on the darksaber.:argh:

All the cameo's aside, hers is what I'm interested in the most. She was exiled with Pre Vizsla in TCW. Then, went into exile again after Pre Vizsla was killed. I wanna say she was in exile/seclusion again in Rebels?

I don't see how she isn't just in a Moff Gideon flashback getting killed for the Darksaber. For as important as that Darksaber is, I always assumed the owner should have to die honorably to lose it. Or at least, a Mandalorian would. I don't think Maul gave a damn about the meaning of it.

I'm sure they all find blue-puffer-fish guy just as annoying as we do. they probably reluctantly need him unfrozen for his resources/assets, than are stuck with him just for some of the ep. Doubt he is a regular.

My problem isn't whether the character is annoying in-universe or the idea that he's a regular, my disappointment with seeing him pop up again is that he's annoying to me, as a viewer. He felt like he walked in from another show and wasn't, for lack of a better term, the "right kind of annoying." I'm sure it'll be a one episode guest role, it's just something I'm not looking forward to.

Well, if that is Sanz's character popping up again, I'd like to see the context before I get angry about it. I think they used that character just enough for his first appearance.

Oh god, they're bringing back the mark from the pilot? That's annoying, I thought he was awful and really brings down the first section of the episode.
Yeah, I liked him a lot more then you, and even I am kind of rolling my eyes on this one. Hopefully just a short scene, and it's fun.

I'd still rather Horatio Sanz's blue guy come back than this ***hole:

I always assumed he'd be back and as much as I didn't care about Blue Fish guy, he's actually the lesser evil between the two. At least you know you're not supposed to take him seriously.

Thankfully the short, sad, and pathetic bounty-hunting career of Toro Calican was unflinchingly cut short by the Mando:funny:

And as per the sneak peak pic, and S2 trailers, we know he took his better speeder-bike too!:D

And apparently insanely eagle-eyed fandom are identifying Fett's armor loaded on to the back of it.'
So that should get interesting!

We knew this a month ago.

Being fair, Toro Calican was *absolutely* supposed to make you hate him. His story role was "the jerk *****e you hate, who reveals he's a total bastard, and then gets killed by the hero to much applause". I felt much worse about Fennic's supposed-fate, as she at least seemed reasonably professional and competent. Like, she probably didn't have any greater morals than Toro, but she probably did have *standards*. "I'll kill you because someone paid me to do so, or because you tried to kill me" is still a step up from "I'll kill you because you have something I want, or happened to be in the way, or because I'm an idiot who didn't think things through."

To me, he was an upstart young punk trying to play around being bounty hunter. In that sense, I thought he played the character fine.

Also, interesting new creature that looks like a gecko/frog type of thing:
