Episode 5: Journey Into Mystery (Spoiler Discussion)

We've yet to see Blue Loki thats who's behind this i think Kang will probably be a post credit

Alligator Loki will always be my favourite.

Classic Loki went out with a hell of a bang. I'm sad to see him go.

The one thing I didn't like is the beginning with the camera shots upside down and sideways. I don't know why they do that, but it's highly disorientating and annoying.

All the setup is Kang. But, they might allude to Kang through another Loki. But I rather they didn't. Guess we will see.

I think there is 3 options on the table for the Kang front:

1 - Kang appears as himself outright

2 - Someone works for Kang

3 - Variant Kang....like Immortus or something.

I lean toward Kang may make a cameo appearance, but with someone else facing Loki

They’re going to save Kang’s full reveal in Ant-Man, which is still a long ways away. As someone said, at best we get a tease but he won’t be part of the action.

My prediction:

King Loki won in New York, won at asguard, and made the TVA so he can never lose.

Sylvie and our Loki team up and defeat him together.

Kang shows up in a post credit scene, working to rebuild King Loki’s operation and moving into his quantum realm house.

That just makes it sound like you're shipping Thor with Kermit.

Everything's coming up Kermit this episode.

Hell yes bring on a Classic Loki spinoff, especially with all the great reception Richard E. Grant is getting right now. I'm just glad Marvel was able to utilize talent so well after how wasted he was in Rise of Skywalker in that forgettable general, villian role even if nothing comes from it in the future.

Where was the Thanos copter? I missed it.

Classic Loki was great. I thought he'd give a backstory that was Avengers 1 in the comics though.

Came here to say, he is an absolute delight. I would pay good Money for a classic Loki spin-off.
I love that talk like this is actually possible with the Disney + model and overall MCU success. I remember many statements like that I made about films as a kid that had zero chance.

That’s what I want. I’d love to see Kang, but if that were to happen I’d expect it to be fleeting and a setup for the future with someone else being the relevant final villain for this show.

Just watched this. I'm in awe very good episode

That was one hell of an episode and great way to lead to what should be a great finale

Richard E Grant was perfect as Classic Loki! Hopefully this isn’t the last we’ve seen of him. He and Alligator Loki were the highlights of this episode

Loved the Ghostbusters Easter egg they threw in with Kid Loki sipping on an Ecto Cooler lol

And seeing Loki give Mobius a hug and referring to him as a friend was nice to see. First time I ever see him that sentimental, not even toward Thor was he like that :funny:

In a show that's already had an absolute ton of comic book craziness Richard E Grant's OId Loki using his magic and laughing in the face of death gave me comic book goosebumps.

Seeing Alligator Loki walk with the rest was also oddly amusing.

I'm surprised they didn't make Alligator Loki speak. They could've given more of his backstory.

Also when Alligator Loki bit off President Loki's hand, it just looked like he had a removable hand. There was no blood and it didn't even look severed or bitten off but was such a clean cut.

Dat "Ride Of The Valkyries" motif doe...

Amazing episode.

Nothing more to say.
