I hope Alicia Masters isn't in this film. Even though they won't be new to being the Fantastic Four, I want Ben to still be struggling with his transformation. Alicia represents a big step forward for him and I think that should be saved for a later film.

Plus I think that it would anchor the team to the MCU more of they have more connections in that universe. That's why I also hope that Wyatt Wingfoot isn't introduced until a sequel too.

It could be intriguing if done right, but given Marvel’s recent track-record, I can’t honestly say I trust them enough to not fear they’ll screw it up.

If it were up to me, I'd have Morgan Freeman as the voice of Galactus. I mean he's pretty much Hollywood's idea as the voice of God, so the thought of him talking and using his power to devour our world would be terrifying to me.

If it were a female Galactus (who I'm officially dubbing Mother Galactus) I'd cast Shohreh Ahgdashloo. I always imagined Galactus had a very deep voice, and I think it'd be interesting with a woman's voice.

They definitely seem to be trying to do something very unique and ambitious with this.

It could be intriguing if done right, but given Marvel’s recent track-record, I can’t honestly say I trust them enough to not fear they’ll screw it up.

I'm even more excited if they really are trying to do something very different. One of my big worries is that they would try to make this film as safe and by the numbers as possible.
The FF deserve more than that and it makes me happy that Marvel might actually be trying something new and distinct.

I’ve found on some articles responses are very different per leaning depending on what it is - across the web.

When it’s an article that triggers the right, they flock to it like a moth to a flame. Probably because they are more likely to share articles that trigger them to whine about it while those that aren’t are less likely to pass it around. Or that’s my theory.

I've been thinking about the setting of this, what seems to be a retro futuristic 1960's. If the rumors about them losing their world is true and they end up in the mcu sacred time line then I think that's a perfect explanation of why Reed is the smartest man in the world. Imagine he's already the smartest in a reality where technology has likely far surpassed the main universe has, and then ends up in the main mcu. I think it'd really set him apart from the geniuses of the mcu.
