Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Sounds like Indy 5 is in all sorts of trouble. Test audiences hate every one of the multiple endings they were shown.

RIP to the Batman of my childhood.

Angela Basset still looks hnnnnnngh.

2pac is my favorite rapper ever, but Nas is up there.

I wonder who of today’s lot we’ll be talking about in 30 years in the same way. Probably Kendrick Lamar and Kanye at least. But most of the rappers of today are flavors of the week and don’t have much staying power.

Cole and Kendrick should be it, but was underwhelmed by both of their last projects. I like Cole's album better. Nas recent albums dunks on them both to be honest. Still, funny to see them newish folks talking about being relevant when the man is 30 years in and mostly just adding extra shine and gold to his throne at this point.

No beefs or rivals, they playing Ether on Tidal! Brothers can do anything when they decide to, in the Range Rover dissecting bars from Takeover... sometimes I text Hova like this ain't over!"

The trailer didn't do much for me which makes me sad as an Indy Superfan...

finally watched black adam.

i enjoyed it.
it's pure dumb fun akin to the transformers movies, as one of my friends compared it to.
i thought the rock's more stoic performance fit the character and story.
and i generally liked the whole cast - dr. fate and hawkman probably were the highlights for me here.
the story and pacing all felt like it was messily slapped together though.

the movie isn't as terrible as the reviews made it out to be, but it isn't as good as the rock himself hyped it to be either. haha.

this would've been more successful if it was released maybe 10 years ago.

but this didn't make the waves the powers that be expected. it what it is.
after this messy transition period, maybe the dc cinematic universe will be more coherent and improve in quality...hopefully.

I didn’t hate it either. It just should’ve been a JSA film featuring BA rather than the other way around. BA didn’t need as much time to develop as the JSA did.

The movie had no clue where it was going. When chooses to go in stasis then 5 seconds later breaks out it was one of the dumbest "look how powerful I am" scenes ever.

The movie is fine but needed a much better script and yeah the JSA should have been the focus.
