I don’t really find that line all that appalling. Matter of fact, it’s probably the closest Adams comes to feeling as brash as Lois should.

I never saw anything in interviews with them regarding being fond of each other. It was always just amy gushing over henry like he wasn't in the room while henry looked visibly uncomfortable and quiet.
