Now a while back, our esteemed colleague Longuecarabine took a stab at casting Game of Thrones if it were done in the year 2000. And Long, if you're reading this, you did a great job. That was like 50 characters. Solid work. Bravo. However, there were a lot of major players you didn't even touch. And naturally, once I thought of a few, I couldn't stop. So let's pick this up where we left off.

I considered Vincent Cassel as well, since it would get him a chance to schmooze with his wife Monica, which they did a lot on screen at this time.

Recast Cersei, huh? No problem. Given the actors you already assembled, I think Cersei’s gotta be Nicole Kidman. She’s even the same age as Craig. AND she’s an HBO alum now. Plus, y’know: Cold Mountain.
