I hope its get that July 2023 date.
Now imagine that was Galactus.
That trailer makes me more confident that the F4 will be realized to it’s fullest potential. The first Eternals trailer left me a little cold but I’m feeling a lot better after this one.
I’m liking the expansive universe the FF will be able to play in.
Now that NWH is confirmed to be a multiverse film it’s only a matter of time before MCU Fantastic Four crosses over with Fan4stic, and they fight both Julian MacMahon’s and Tobey Kebbell’s Doom.
Great to hear those comments. I’m up for this for F4 too.Feige confirms we’ll be getting films that explore outer space after GOTG 3.
Do you think that Marvel will be going to more non-earth planets after Guardians of the Galaxy 3?
FEIGE: Yes.
Anything you want to tease more than that?
FEIGE: No, but I think it was always something that we were very anxious to do, to be able to tell stories throughout the entire... It is called the universe after all, and I think audiences now are very comfortable going to strange planets with us. So we certainly will continue to do that before Guardians 3 and after Guardians 3.
F4 seems slated to be coming out after GOTG 3 in 2023. I think these comments bodes very well for the new F4 film to be set largely in space. Which I think will be a nice change of pace from the Fox films that always seemed to be stuck mostly on Earth due to budgetary reasons.
You are right, the F4 are generally more earth-based, but they’ve been known to explore different dimensions and worlds before, so it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for them to go galactic. They actually even battled Ego in the comics believe it or not. I think those comments are at least a encouraging sign they won’t be afraid taking the team in more grander and larger than life directions than what we’ve seen before.were the F4 known for interplanetary travel though? The comics I own show them on earth fighting intergalatic threats that would come to them, not the other way around. I am thinking Feige's comments relate more to Nova and Adam Warlock as well as the Inhumans and Silver Surfer

They've always been a mix of both. They're like the bridge between crazy space stuff and Earth.
Also, space isn't the only thing they do, they time travel, explore ancient Earth civilizations, different dimensions, they do it all. I hope the MCU FF get to do it all and not just earth or space.
Yay or nay?
We should at least get news of writers this year, and don’t forget we’ll likely learn a little more about the film when Jon Watts does press tour for NWH. Assuming the NDA isn’t so tight, I think Watts will be willing to spill some beans for his vision for the film that make headlines. Interest in this movie is obviously very high so every little nugget of information we get from someone like Feige and Watts will be dissected and analyzed to death. We aren’t getting casting announcements this year, but writers and a official release date announcements are likely this year. We might have another Disney’s Investor’s Day this year and Feige is definitely itching to make more MCU announcements. So will definitely get something before this year is over.I guess we won't get any news until mid 2022 at best...
I’ve got a dollar that says Spider-man introduces at least one substantial Fantastic Four element.
perhaps a cameo of Johnny Storm in NWH post credit or something
