I need this.
So, um, what is the Carnage thing? Like his story?

On Xbox? Because the PS3 version once again lacks custom soundtrack option...
Some very new cool animations and takedowns but it still pretty much the same thing.

The symbiote was created to heal Norman, the "suit" heals everything and it protects the host, you know the rest...
Thanks Andrew! Are boss battles better than the first?
Ah... so there is no venom involved like the mobile game?
Also, wasn't this game about Uncle Ben's killer...?
I seem to recall that being it's plot...
Yep,but still you can listen in a headset and mute the game, pretty much the same thing.
"I'm Spiderman" i great too.
Btw i thinking that Beenox will really nail the web-swing for real in the next one.
I was thinking about buying this, but I think it will be a waste of money. 5 hours to beat the game and little replay value other than collectables. And the city being dead with repeating side missions makes it meh. If only redbox had PS4 rentals.
Its different when you can hear the game and the soundtrack at the same time. And idk about your last comment. They are missing a number of features present in other games and some from their own titles. I think if they could have they would have. They seem set own doing their own thing and it still isn't sufficient.
They mention "Project Venom" at Ravencroft, Uncle Ben killer gets killed by Cletus at the beggining, and Kraven isn't really a mentor.
Spidey needs better marketing teams.

There is a lot of things to do
-Combat Challenges
-Speed Challenges
-Photos to take
-Stan Lee comic book shop
-Suits to take
-Oscorp boxes to destroyer
-Audio files
But again if you didn't liked much the first then you shouldn't buy it,play it at your friend home since there is no demo and decide if it's worth it.
It's hard being creative & successful under the wings of big daddy Activision. Just happy for the guys that they're able to ship in time and not turned into a COD map pack studio yet.
I can agree with that. Still....I don't think it's about being creative at all. Maybe there's some kind of legal reason that the SM2 system can't be recreated? If not why does Beenox keep trying to do their own thing and miss the mark each time? I think if they combined what worked with the sm2 system and added their controller rumbles features introduced in ASM1 they would have the perfect swing system.
That's my opinion obviously....
... Why would you waste your time when you can play the most god sent game of all time that was only good for its web swinging.

Why don't you just go and play Spider-Man 2 then? Nearly ALL of your posts on the past few pages are you saying how you want this game to be like Spider-Man 2. Its obvious you don't like this game. We get it. You don't have to play it. Why would you waste your time when you can play the most god sent game of all time that was only good for its web swinging.
I'm not going play this, but I'd be interested in reading a brief story break-down if you feel like writing one (in spoiler tags).

Which was mediocre and glitchy at its best. Lame animations, no-sense physics (float in midair at the end of a swing for decades) and overall boring. Only thing it was good for was that it's the first open-world swinging mechanics and the webs have physical properties to them preventing them from going no-clip mode (going through all kinds of structures). It was good for it's time, but I'd rather have a completely new swinging system based on real-world physics. The web is supposed to be a webline, elastic, and not a straight line that doesn't stretch/bend.
SM2 hasn't aged the best in many ways but it has some fantastic attributes. It's fair to talk about wanting a next gen version of that same, or a very similar but updated, swinging system. It's got great physics and many great gameplay abilities interwoven into it that were missing from the previous game and they also appear to be missing from this one as well.
And this is the thread to talk about it in. Any other questions?
Andrew Lucas, have you given us a good breakdown of the webslinging? if not, could you?
How does it compare to the first ASM game? How does it compare to the original SM2 game?
Sprint button? Charged jump? can you hold a web line for as long as you want? Can you climb up a web line?
So, it looks like this game has different upgrades for each suit
How many upgrades per suit are there? And how many times can you need to fully upgrade one attribute?
