Justice League Dark Animated Film

Justice League Dark is the best movie in the new shared animated universe.

Wow great movie. You could make a live action movie out of this. Add Dr. Fate replace Batman with Shazam and another female or two And I'd prefer this over Justice League. This was extremely well done. The dc magical characters are fun!!

I am looking forward to seeing this. It is good that most people who have seen it seem to have enjoyed it.

This is first feature in a long time that ive legitimately enjoyed i was generally surprised at how some characters were utilized snd treated. Especially some fan favorites.

It seems like this continuity just glossed over John Stewart's origin and Hal's exit. :csad:

They make a conscious effort to not retell the origin of any Justice League member who has had theirs told in the DCAU, since these flicks are aimed at older demos. That would also mean we should know that Earth Lanterns rotate protecting that sector.

I'm surprised no one has brought up that [BLACKOUT] John doesn't smoke in this [/BLACKOUT] especially since it was a [BLACKOUT]huge point of contenton with the NBC series.[/BLACKOUT]

Because the animators found out they were allowed to after the fact. I figured they didn't want to shoddily shoehorn it in.

John's origin was never told in the DCAU, unless it was told on Young Justice and I'm forgetting it.

Not Young Justice.
In Justice League, it was alluded to via his military and GL affiliations.

Guess we'll see his full origin in the DCEU.

John is a bit of a *****e here.
Is he usually this *****ey in the comics?

Conjob pulled off a few schemes in the movie. Newcastle incident reference.

Swamp Thing was a little disappointing.

You can't go through more than five issues of Hellblazer without someone calling him a bastard. Constantine is a anti-hero. It is part of what makes him a compelling character.

Okay Ive got a question about this Batman, and I guess new-52 Batman in general. In new-52 Batman has been around for like 5-years and is quite young, and even if we believe he is somewhere around 35 years old, how does he go through 4 robins at such a fast rate?(Dick,Todd,Drake and Damian)

What am I missing here guys?

That bloke is a bloody bastard.

[BLACKOUT]Something to do with Rebirth and the Comedian smiley pin, before the decision of it was Abra Kadabra.[/BLACKOUT]

You haven't seen **** yet compared to Hellblazer.

But he's a lovable a-hole , for sure.

He says it best himself , really :

That neither Jason nor Tim were referenced/mentioned.
As far as we know Dick was his sidekick and he ran into Kate a couple of times.

I thought this was great. I think the good reception is going to encourage WB to make the live action one
