No Way Home Spider-Man: No Way Home General News & Discussion Thread (TAG SPOILERS)

Here's an off-topic thing about Batman for the moment. Umm...
When are we gonna get a bloody live-action Batman beyond movie when?

Anyway. Umm...I've missed the part where it's my job.

Hearing word that Sony is releasing the first trailer for Uncharted this week. If that's the case, we can forget about a new NWH trailer on the 25th. Or anytime this month to be honest.

I'm not on the 25th train like a lot of folks are (*cough* remember June 1st *cough*), but I do think it's more reasonable that they'll release it on November 1st or 8th, assuming they premiere it with Ghostbusters Afterlife.

But on another hypothetical scenario, they could still release the trailer on October 25th if they wanted to so it goes with Eternals. The 25th is technically a part of next week and not this one which they could still premiere the Uncharted trailer, so we'll see what happens.

'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' Coordinated With 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Team on Post-Credit Scene - Murphy's Multiverse (murphysmultiverse.com)

There was a lot of coordination — and if you don’t know all the coordination yet, I’m not going to be the one to tell you — but yes, between Sony and Marvel and the Venom team and the No Way Home team. We worked together on it.

That came from Kevin Feige.

Apparently DanielRPK said that the Uncharted trailer premieres on Thursday.

Uphill battle? Successful franchise? The last Batman movie solo was tdkr. That was in 2012 Which kinda sucked imo. The affleck interpretation is hit or miss with people and also this looks good as hell. And the praise is high. Asm was a reboot that had an uphill battle. It came 6 yrs after the Tobey ones. It’s been 11 yrs since we had a solo Batman movie. People didn’t think joker would make big box office numbers either but that made bank .

also yes I’m coming off as a Batman Stan right now but I’m not I love Spider-Man the most but that Batman film looks epic

TDKR is a master peace better than the dark knight. Yeah I know its reception is not has high has dark knight but it was still considered really good by most people and I dont see how the batman looks good looks like straight trash. I dont think it matters if its 6 years or 11 or 20 if you have a reboot after a successful franchise its going to be fighting a uphill battle. Yes ASM had a uphill battle to and yes I know it made like 700 million or something but still way less than a like spiderman 4 would have made and yes batman is really popular but spiderman is even more popular. I dont see the batman making more than like 500-600 million even if its amazing.

I dont think it does. Rumors are all around of issues on set of BP2, and I think that is part of the move for that movie onward. Now, Thor and Strange...there I am not sure. Maybe they just wanted to avoid Batman?
Doctor Strange was also doing reshoots last month after wrapping principal photography back in mid-April so that could be another reason for the delay. Not enough time to cram all that added post-production in the previous scheduled time frame.

That is entirely your opinion. But billions of people disagree. It’s not fighting any uphill battle. The high praise proves this . I think the dark knight rises is one of the worst Batman movies I’ve ever seen. Just a crap movie. But that’s me

and again maybe you don’t think so and that’s cool but this movie has been getting great buzz and like it or not Batman sells and is on par with Spider-Man in terms of those sales.Spider-Man of course sells more but Batman is second in terms of sales . If Batman’s villain the joker can cross a billion than the Batman can. This movie has been getting nothing but praise. To think it’s trash is fine but it’s not the popular opinion. And yes yrs do matter. The last solo Batman film was long ago. It’s not like it was 5 yrs ago. Like I said asm had more going against but it still made money. People always like the dark contrast compared to the more light hearted aspects of other hero films.

She's wrong more often than not though.

Not really, unless you only read reddit summaries. It's more like her scoops aren't unique, therefore aren't necessary. Everyone's wrong sometimes, like remember when you called everyone in this thread fools for thinking Tobey and Andrew are in NWH?

Huh? Don't recall ever saying something like that, just expressing frustration at other folks online who still deny that they are in NWH.

If you can find proof though, please do provide it and I'll apologize if that's the case.

Grace is like any scooper out there: she gets them right sometimes and she gets them wrong sometimes. I don't have an honest assessment of her track record. But she is very unlikable. Even when the people on the productions tell her she is wrong, she has this rude defiance and need to be right and it makes her look bad. Thus I don't much care about anything she has to say

I mean Charles Murphy does this too but nobody treats him as bad as they do Grace. Makes you wonder what's the difference... :ebr:

I also don't pay attention to Charles Murphy. So, this insinuation ain't working on me
