I don't even know what parts of that trailer were "how they started" to be honest. In the games, Teen Drake was already getting into trouble and met Sully while still a kid. But here, Drake's already a grown (baby-faced) man working as a bartender before he even meets Sully. You can't do a "how-it-started" story when the guy's already in his trademark henleyDrake is clearly supposed to have a rogue-ish Indiana Jones type personality to him while Sully is a “been there, done that, good luck kid” personality. I know this a “how it started” kind of movie but neither of them show any hint of those personalities.

My main complaint is that this thing existsSo, the main complaint is the presence or Mark Whalberg in this right?

He looks and sounds nothing like Sully, but my biggest complaint is Tom Holland as Drake.
To y'all thinking Bruce Campbell fits Sully more than Mark Whalberg (who I think is more Nathan Drake material); I agree, but do you want him in what looks like a shoddy adaption?
Holland has said he pitched himself as Drake randomly to one of the execs, and they ran with it.
That I would actually watch.Isn't Ryan Reynolds the closest to Drake?
Holland has said he pitched himself as Drake randomly to one of the execs, thinking he'd get shot down, and they loved the idea.
