Was a decent episode I thought
I wasn't really bothered by the zombie like aspect of the episode when they made it pretty clear it was released by Zod (or one of his men), but it actually turned out quite decent, the zombie fights where quite entertaining.
The only real aspects of the
zombies I didn't like was that so many people appeared to have been infected. They where then cured by putting the antidote in the water supplies (fair enough) & infusing it somehow with the rain..
I know very little about the deep scientific elements/cycle of rain, clouds etc other than the basic stuff taught in school however I'm going to go out on a limb & say the way in which they
infused all off the rain is impossible..
(then again I suppose so is freezing a lake, picking it up then dropping it over a fire & it turning completely to liquid before it hits the ground... dammit ) Then overlooking how they got the antidote into both, what happened to the people that didn't drink tap water in the morning or step outside into the rain before it stopped..? One name I can think of is Tess.
But I suppose in regard to the antidote I can overlook it & just assume that the entier city was not infected completely, just people in & around the Daily Planet.. heck maybe that's why Clark was running about near the end, perhaps he was scouring the city for any remaining zombies & making them drink a glass of water..
Aside from the way they where cured I thought it was a decent enough idea & fun to watch, particularly because it was a 'Kryptonian' like virus released by one of Zod's men.
The Clark/Lois interaction throughout the entier episode was top notch, I really enjoyed it all & I'm loving how its developing.
Oliver Queen/Green Arrow...
Well I'm quite sick of this character now, the novelty of having the Green Arrow on the show has finally wore off on me. We've already seen him be a feckin drunk for an entier season I don't want to see it again. This show is about Superman, his problems/coming to terms of who he is & what he has to do not
Green Arrow Happy Hour Part II...
I don't have a problem if they brought him back now & again, but really his drinking ****e is taking up too much time in these episodes..
:
Doesn't look like its going to wear off either as the next 2 episodes seem very Oliver 'rock bottom/in trouble' orientated
Anyway, I thought this was a decent enough episode despite its probable plot flaws & irritating Oliver
'happy hour' Queen nonsense. The Clark/Lois & the entier Zod/virus stuff was what made this episode for me. I'm looking forward to see where they're going with the Zod arc & I can't wait to see what is next for Clark/Lois..
