You're not the only one with that feeling, Batman.

Ditto.

Didn't like "Cliana" when Mark Waid and Alex Ross did it in Kingdom Come (granted Waid apologized for it and how he handled Lois), didn't care for it from the likes of Frank Miller and damn well don't like it along wih the sham of a "reboot"

I said to myself when I read up on Stuart Snyder leaving CN: "Now if only Johns, Lee, Harras and the DiDiot follow suit after him".

:o

I like to imagine she sliced that ice cream dude open from toe to head, during that ice cream excitement.

I re-watched this again today. I'll say it: best animated version of the JL ever. Flame away.

Someone needs to make a gif of Wondy using the lasso on the cross-dressing protester on top of the car. That was a stroke of genius.

That entire scene didn't work at all, ok the ice cream bit was cute. And her justification for why she wears that costume was just stupid. Actually, it was weird that they chose THIS movie to bring up the costume issue, since this is the most covered up that WW's been in years. She's showing LESS skin here that she did in the DCAU, or the comics, or the other movies (she doesn't even show any cleavage). So this was the wrong movie to bring it up in.

As far as I'm concerned, "New 52" is DC's (answer to?) version of Marvel's Ultimate line.

There's two things from the DC universe I hope they avoid doing to her in BvsS: A stupid skimpy costume and scenes like this.

With that said above, It's likely you're going to see a scene something close to that.

I don't get the big deal with the ice cream scene. It's not some great scene but it's not the "OHMAJESUS WHY THE HECK SO TERRIBLE BATNIPPLE BAD GOD GEOFF JOHNS GO TO DIE!!!!!!" thing everyone seems to be making it out to be.

After all, ice cream is pretty damn wonderful.

Yeah, it gave her more humanity and made a comical/fun scene. This version of WW is different, anyway. More of a warrior.

I watched this, liked it didn't love it. Loved watching Supes own Bats and GL. Wasn't a fan of the way they handled Darkseid. I actually really liked Cyborg as well.

Dc fanboys are the worst.

I liked that too, despite my fandom of GL & Bats while being ambivalent to Superman. It wouldn't have made sense for a young Superman to show up and be the boy scout immediately.

Also, sometime like Cyborg's transformation would be stunning in live-action. I'm completely on board with him being in the JL movie if and when it happens.

I'm still trying to get myself to watch this one again, I really have no desire to revisit it but
I'm hoping with my not liking it the first team means it'll surprise me on a second viewing.

agreed...the new 52 is an alternate universe to the one we are used to...sort of like the Star Trek movies...the purpose is for them to cover new ground that they couldn't do in the DC Prime universe.

I actually liked the ice cream scene on print but I hated seeing it on action on the screen.

Overall, the only interesting bits from JL War were Cyborg's origin, Hal's interaction with the rest of the league, and possibly a lot of the action. Otherwise, I was kind of disappointed by JL War. I thought that Flashpoint Paradox was a superior movie.

So, we automatically have to like it just because it's new? Duely noted.

Someone said people who dislike the scene are being too extreme, but its supporters are being equally weird. Sometimes....a thing is just not to someone's taste...new or not.
