Whatever case, this won’t be another Virtual Comic-Con where it’s an uneventful bore. This will actually be an event where we will get actual announcements that will break the internet(...I don’t use that term very often).

What I’m hoping for but won’t expect: A new Superman movie announced.

An HBO Max movie or series with The Question.

News of Harley Quinn being renewed for a season 3!

What I expect:

Micheal Keaton officially confirmed to be in the Flashpoint movie and more story details about the movie.

The trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Information and concept art about The Batman(possibly a teaser trailer), Shazam 2, as well the reveal of who will be the GL showrunner.

The new Batman game revealed(finally), with a teaser trailer out.

The Suicide Squad concept art, reveals on who’s playing what, and possibly a teaser trailer.

A trailer for the two-part Batman Long Halloween along with official casting announcements.

I just remember loathing Summer by the end of this film.

Eh. She does send mixed messages and she is really insensitive at times---the worst part has to be the party where she blindsides him by not telling him she's engaged until he finds out at the party, like he follows her around with sad puppy eyes, she had to know he was still in love with her---but he has to take some of the blame too. She never denies not wanting a relationship or viewing things casually, and he builds it into this epic love story in his own mind and is oblivious to their problems as time goes on and she's obviously not as into their relationship as he is. Even JGL says he considers his character to be in the wrong.

If I wasn’t trying to save more money, I would actually get DC Universe just to binge that but from the clips I’ve seen online, that show is the best thing to happen to Harley since Arleen Sorkin.

It’s pretty funny, smart and has heart. I loved Sanaa Lathan’s Catwoman too from this season.

Shame if they don’t renew it.

Would be pretty exciting if we got all that.

I think they will, the show’s gotten a lot of acclaim and attention it would be a good flagship show for HBO Max in the future.

You guys think Fandome could be an annual thing they do if successful? Like, say the world is back to “normal” next summer maybe they rent out an actual venue in NY or LA or something and have an actual weekend long con experience.

They could if they did a combination of HBO Max/WB/CW teases, etc, ala D23 which does Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Disney+,etc. Of course this already takes away from SDCC.

Rewatching 500 Days of Summer. Damn what happened to Marc Webb? I love this movie and I remember being so excited for TASM due to his involvement. Then it all went down the drain

He's doing alright. He exec produced "Crazy Ex Girlfriend" for its 4 seasons and that was pretty well liked. He's joined the Disney remake factory now, which is a paycheck and maybe some clout. He got Snow White, I assume from a list of names in a hat.

When is the last time he had even a decent film?

I will be honest: The Candyman trailer looks very generic and boring for me and I never heard of her besides that. But lets give her a shot, Russos were NoNames too.

Captain Marvel 2 might be the first MCU movie i just skip entirely. That first one literally did nothing for me.

Little Woods was one of my favorite movies of that year so I am very happy about this choice. And not-so-secretly hoping Tessa can reunite w/ DaCosta on it so we can get the Valkyrie/Carol scenes we were robbed of in Endgame. :funny:

I'm hyped for all of them but the ones not mentioned like Raimi Multiverse of Madness and Eternals could be really good for me.

If DiCosta does for Captain Marvel 2 what the Russos did for Captain America in The Winter Soldier, that would be amazing.

Her Candyman movie looks to have atmosphere and gorgeous visuals. Her hiring bodes well for that movie too.

Don't know much about her prior work, but I am sure she will be fine. It's Marvel. I will at minimum enjoy it.

I also missed that CM2 was written by the WandaVision writer, so now I’m extra-curious about that show.

Oh yeah I forgot about that.

That just adds more fuel to my personal theory about Monica Rambeau in these shows/movies. I think she’s investigating mutants and starting with Wanda.

Candyman looks like it's gonna be a modern horror classic. This news has me very excited!

For me, I’m all about Doctor Strange and Multiverse of Madness. Once Sam Raimi was attached that movie went from a shoulder shrug to my top 5 anticipated cbms on the horizon.

Very curious about Shang Chi too. I’m a sucker for Kung Fu/ martial arts flicks.
