Speaking of DC, what are they doing lately anyways. Comics wise the two are kinda on the same playing field. With the whole Knull and Death Metal arcs going around. Dark God v Dark God.

I wonder if the MCU and DCEU will ever introduce those guys? I'm assuming it's only a matter if time before DC unless he's one of their glorious animated films. Capturing TBwL in his full sadistic glory.

Film wise though, I kinda could've waited for WW2. I really want Flash and GL, I may be on the unpopular opinion end here. But I'm also hoping Cyborg gets his film, even tho it seems that project is at the bottom of their priorities.

I hope not. Valkyrie is my fav, I don't want her to share the little screentime she might have with a character I dislike.

I doubt that Valkyrie will only get a "little" screentime. It's pretty clear from what Tessa said at Comic-Con and from the fact that she is now ruling Asgard, that she will still have a pivotal role in this. And nor do I think that Sif is going to upstage her or something. Sif may only appear in a couple of scenes for all we know .

This news doesn't change the fact that Tessa will likely still have fourth billing in this movie, behind Chris, Natalie and Bale.

And I also have faith that whatever role Sif does have in this, Taika will likely portray her in a more engaging way than was the case in the first 2 movies.

Every year I come back to this thread I'm reminded of when people said it would get locked in a day when I first made it. I'm so glad there can be civil debates regarding the cinematic universes.

You can be proud of your creation. A solid contribution to Hype history and a hopeful part of its future.

It was (political) thriller. I never watched a thriller of the 70s but he was not complete wrong with that.

Agreed on all that. I love Ragnarok but apart from Hogun, the film took out Thor’s supporting characters like chumps. Hopefully they make Sif a more interesting character this time, if they've gone to the effort of recalling her.

Agreed on all that. I love Ragnarok but apart from Hogun, the film took out Thor’s supporting characters like chumps. Hopefully they make Sif a more interesting character this time, if they've gone to the effort of recalling her.

Even though it definitely deserves to be in there, I think it’s a slap in the face that The Dark Knight goes into the Film Registry before Batman 89.

That’s like putting in Man of Steel before the Donner Superman movie.

Heimdall was killed in Infinity War. And his death was far more consequential as it materially affected Thor's decision to not go for the head at the end of the movie.

Nah. Placing the best CBM before the movie that made Batman movies taken more seriously isn't a the slap in the face that placing Mediocrity of Steel there before Superman: The Movie would be.

That's what I meant in response to his "Apart from Hogun Thor's supporting cast went down like chumps", that guy was a champ that saved his people and survived Ragnarok.

Not really. Most agree that The Dark Knight is a superior film to Batman 89. The same can't be said for Man of Steel over Superman the Movie.
