Maybe. That'd be a massive score for Netflix. Though the deal says it's for 2022 and Sony is still saying this will only be in theaters. But we'll see how things are when we get closer to December.

It'd just be so convenient to throw the whole franchise up on Disney+.

The deal is so lucrative that Sony won’t sell the rights back in any form or shape for the foreseeable future. It’s better to just keep chugging out Spider-Man related films to get that licensing streaming money.

I don't think they'll keep the simultaneous releases past 2021. Although I do think the release window between theatrical and streaming will get much shorter.
Remember when we had to wait like a year before something was released on VHS?

Maybe Tobey's Peter Parker is going to bully Revelori's Flash. Then when he's holding him upside down Garfield's Peter is going to have to call out "Eugene" again, but that will be not to stop Maguire's Peter but to let everyone know Flash's real name.
