Those stupid apples you posted in the kitchen thread are actually looking pretty good right now, but it’s late and I’m kinda hungry.

I've never seen anyone as offended at the existence of dough as you. :o

And it makes your dick fly off. I couldn't post that GIF. This stupid country.

Bezo's space phallus... Is this the true origin?

...look, we all know the true origin of that. When a trillion dollars isn't enough, it starts to become apparent. It's like buying the world's biggest Hummer.

...The truck.

This is a man that has taken the concept of "phrasing" to heart.

True. I eat at least two handfuls of nuts per day in order to do my part. I understand it’s good for you.

Cali... You need to go to Cell for lessons.

I was going to start that Masters of the Universe show. The Rotten Tomatoes consensus thingy says that it will work for returning fans and newcomers alike. Krypton, is that true, or are you calling the splatty fruit people a bunch of liars?

Cashews, almonds, pecans, hazel/brazil nuts, and wet teddy beahs.

This reminds me of something that I was going to say that I thought was going to be really funny, but then I forgot.

Voice recognition doesn’t know what a cough is. Apple is going to have to fix that.

I think you can enjoy it well enough with no context but it will really sing for those that have that childhood connection to it.

For general fantasy/action fans I think that it can still work as a bit of a deconstruction of this kinda material even if MOTU was not part of your younger days. If you watched anything LIKE MOTU you'll get what Revelations is going for I think.

I do think... They skimped out on the action set pieces a bit. No matter how much a particular episode of Last Airbender skewed towards plot/character or world building they never forgot to entertain with visceral thrills in some way. Smith could have had just a bit more of the razzle dazzle in my view, but that isn't a big dent on the first five episodes.

That's my take.

Well, it's only 5 episodes, so it's not much of a commitment. At least it's something to justify my continued Netflix subscription. It's $19 a month, Krypton. Do you know how many bags of Deer Cane you can get for that?

1 and 3/4. Aisle 25 at Canadian Tire.

Reek once went down in the Pacific Ocean and survived three weeks on a Jerry Rigged raft made out of bags of Deer Cane. Upon reaching a rocky island he survived on the Deer Cane until rescue. The merchant marines that found him stated he claimed he could now commune with ticks and smell the color of fear.

After that was his pitch to J.J. Abrams for LOST.

Reek, after splitting open one of the pontoons and not wanting it to go to waste:

To be fair, he was saying that to a tick.

Fun fact... Arthur here is playing Orko in MOTU.

...

...

...

I take that back.

Fun is subjective.

It's just a fact.

Do with it what you will.

Think about this for a moment: I actually spent the time to make that picture.

That should either bring you pride... or terrify you.

Growing up, I didn't watch a lot of movies. My mom doesn't really watch them, so I was never really shown a lot of things that people my age consider big parts of their childhood. The only movies I watched were new ones that I sought out, or random movies that I may have watched at friends' houses. But that leaves a big gap, because pretty much anything before 1993 is a crapshoot. I've seen the MAJOR tentpoles like Star Wars, Terminator, Alien, Predator, Ghostbusters, etc, but there's a lot of things I missed.

@KRYPTON INC. you always seem to have a list of movies for me to watch, so I'm asking you to give me some suggestions. Anyone else who wants to pop in with some ideas would be great, too.

And don't assume I've seen anything. Like, you might not think to suggest The Goonies, because everyone has seen that. I haven't. Let's go 1975 and up for a time period.
