Leicester are definitely the better team so far. 45 minutes left though. It's annoying though seeing Maguire on the goal thinking he's alone on the pitch or Pogba helicopter-twirling around losing the ball, just to name 2 examples cause it feels like half the team are treating this like a training session. Leicester (despite some results this season) are actually a quite decent team and if you don't treat them as such then **** happens.

5-0 win for Liverpool away to Watford. Nice to see Firmino get a hat-trick.

Soyuncu puts Leicester ahead against Utd. 2-1.

Rashford equalises but Vardy puts Leicester in the lead again a minute later. 3-2!

Daka makes it 4 for Leicester!

Watford win on a giant deflection on an FK in stoppage time!!!

Well the second half didnt really improve did it. :funny:

A sad end to Ole's reign but it was probably always coming wasnt it, he just isnt good enough at the highest level but its time to get someone who has a clue what he is doing in pronto because this is shambolic now and he has clearly lost the players, they dont look like they have a clue what they are doing at the back or up front, time for someone with a plan (who's French:cwink:) to come in and give this mess a sort out and at least get us playing football again, forget winning things (I think we had anyway).

Embarrassing performance and result although fully deserved by Leicester who weren't all that great but my word they didnt need to be today.

Liverpool up next as well..........

Man of the Match: Maguire
Managed to be heavily involved in all the 4 goals suffered by MU.

1st - Loses the ball that gives way to the goal
2nd - Keeps the scorer onside
3rd - Goes to cover the scorer and backs off
4th - Doesn’t cover the scorer in the corner

At this rate MU will struggle to get a Europa League spot for next season. I don’t see any positive change coming in the horizon if there isn’t significant change in the managerial team and the squad itself.

Solskjaer needs to go ASAP. Before more of MU’s season gets compromised beyond repair. If they manage to bring in someone good then they might get a spot on next season’s CL, otherwise it will be a rough season…

Just to keep things in perspective, Leicester City have been in shambolic form so far this season by their own standards in recent years & we turn up today, make them look like Brazil & kick start their season.

Say what you will about LvG & Jose, but at least the pair of them seemed to have a plan & a playstyle that they tried to adhere to, both of which ended up compromising because of the imbalanced squad they'd to deal with. Under OGS, he's been given the most time, the squad he wants & we're a mess. We seem to rely far too much on brilliance from individual players to win us games as opposed to being well organised & well drilled.

Our next 6 games in the league are horrendously difficult -

Liverpool (H)
Tottenham (A)
City (H)
Watford (A)
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)

If we have aspirations to actually challenge for the league & not be out of the title race by Christmas, we need about 12 points from a possible 18 from those games at bare minimum. With the way we've played so far this season bar maybe 1 or 2 games, we'll be lucky to get 6 points from that run.

Given how much time OGS has had & the fact that he's the first manager IMO since SAF to actually be given a squad he wants, questions need to be asked why they aren't performing, because on paper, with the exception of being a top CM short, this squad should be doing a lot better than it is.

Chilwell puts Chelsea 1-0 up against Brentford.

You are correct! My mistake.
I didn’t actually know, was just looking for any late goals but I did know I’d already watched Watford earlier haha. The funny thing is I posted earlier that Liverpool had beaten Wolves before correcting it to Watford so I made the exact opposite mistake to you. :cwink::chd:

Ronaldo must be regretting his move already. Yes Utd are still a big club since he left but they have the imposter-in-chief in the manager’s chair.

Damn, tough run and Utd could be well down the table by the end of that. Another cup exit and surely OGS will be getting close to the door.

First game today since you became the richest club in the world @Iceman I imagine Brucie will be getting the boot ASAP, and come January there'll be some big signings to help Saint-Maximin, the most exciting player you've had since the Asprilla and Ginola days?

I know Brentford got beat yesterday but they've been impressive so far in their first season in the PL, Ivan Toney has stepped up divisions with ease, he looks a real player.

Liverpool, City and Chelsea are going to leave everyone in the dust by the time we enter into 2022, we are 2 midfielders short at my beloved United but there's only one reason we are so poor right now......

Ogbonna puts West Ham 1 up away to Everton. About 10 mins left, would be a top result if they can see it through.

Atmosphere likely to be good just celebrating Ashley out whatever the result. Yeah Saint Maximin has been the one reason to watch the club, the type of player Toon fans love even if we lose games. I imagine he could be one of the only players with a long term future at the club.

Yeah, I have a mate who is a Brentford fan and he is loving it!

The title race is definitely between those 3. Utd are short in CM and have a lame duck manager, so will more likely just be battling to hang onto 4th.

West Ham hold out and now up to 6th! Would have been happy with a draw but that puts them right back up there.

Great start to the post-Ashley era with Wilson finishing after 2 minutes but Ndombele got an equaliser.

Kane on the scoresheet too. 2-1 in the lead now Spurs.
