Oh I totally get it. Bruce Lee getting his ass kicked so easily should have been a clear warning that events weren't going to unfold the way you would think in that movie.

Not at all, I understand why someone would be inherently bothered by the Manson stuff but I personally thought it was hilarious. The Bruce Lee stuff is just dumb, especially because Quentin literally warps at least one quote from Bruce Lee into the exact opposite of what he actually said and has dug his heels in about his obvious error sense. One of the handful of things that made me lose a lot of my respect for Tarantino.

I know Bruce Lee wasn't some totally invincible superman however simply for reasons of intent writing a scene where your OC beats the **** out of Bruce Lee reads real bad even leaving the character assassination out of it.
