Lounge of Justice - Part 90

And let's not forget about the Bat-dick controversy in a comic published through their "mature readers" imprint.

Oh, dont remind me...that was so stupid.
They seem to roll a dice and decide on that what they find okay for Batman.

Banging half the female DC universe okay, banging Jim Gordons daughter okay, seeing his dick or the idea of him going down on Catwoman is not okay?
In a tv show that has harley constantly say that batman ****s bats etc?

Its so random where they draw their line with batman, its so annoying and weird.

I guess I don't get why this is controversial or why anyone cares? This is certainly not headline worthy or worth the breathless commentary on it. There is a difference between how they show "Batman Banging Half the DC Females" usually (kisses, maybe in bed, innuendo...stuff that would never/rarely rate above PG) and actually showing him doing the act. It is even more of a big deal if it is a cartoon, even if the cartoon is mature.

I dunno...this seems like much ado about nothing and stinks more of certain members of the internet (not around here, you know who I am talking about) looking to drum up controversy over something most people would never care about, think about or even disagree with if not for some headlines that make it sound worse than it is. Just my opinion though...

Depends on how it was done. I doubt they were planning on showing it in graphic detail. Probably more alluding to it. Maybe Selina's lower half is under the covers and we can tell Bruce is somewhere down there, then he comes up for air.

It's all in the execution. Not a big deal one way or the other. I think people are probably seeing this at most as a face-palm and for others, as something humorous.

It was almost certainly gonna be a pun based on Selina being patterned after a pussycat. It's the easiest joke on the planet.

In other news, we're finally getting a new Metroid!

Oh I doubt it was anything bad...but why is it a story at all? I mean I am sure cartoons and shows get censored for stuff all the time yet for some reason this is the big deal? This is clickbait level stuff.

The funny thing is if they had left it in and some fan objected or there was outcry the same people making this sound like the heavy hand of DC censorship would be talking about how irresponsible it was to show it in a cartoon. This is all just made up outrage because there is nothing else to talk about. (which I am also apparently adding to) DC fans are the easiest to rope in...

Its Not really a controversy or so, most people just poke fun at this(i cant recommend gail Simones Twitter during such Times enough XD).

Because its just so weird on what their reason is and what IP we are talking about.

Batman, where dc was fine with him boinking almost every dc female Character.
The same IP where they said okay to the killing joke Adaptions opening Part.

Having them say no how they allegedly said, in the Harley quinn Show After all the Show did so far...is just something to have fun with and talk about.

When you're WB/DC you become the butt of jokes. They've become low hanging fruit.

I’ve honestly felt bad for DC as a brand over the years, because it’s been WB who’s dealt the majority of embarrassment. But this one is all on DC at the moment.

The Invisibles

I started reading this and tis' balls to the wall awesome. I also can't help but think them Wachowsky brehs/sisters ripped this off. I mean, tis' so blatantly obvious. Grant Morrison had a legal case imo, he left huge amounts of mula' on the table by not suing them.

For the few aesthetic brehs on here who are pretty about theirs.

Carolina Herrera 'Bad Boy' cologne is the real deal, was in a group setting and lots of compliments from the gals and I caught a few dudes looking up this joint after I named dropped it. Also, the bottle is so damn cool, it looks like Black Adams logo. lawd.

I really don't think there would've been outrage over Batman going down on Catwoman in a mature-rated cartoon. And the reaction to DC cutting it isn't even outrage. It's just people rightly acknowledging how stupid and weirdly prudish DC looks.

I was speaking more about clickbaiters and the "outrage porn" people. Not "normal" people or people around here. :)

I am not even sure why this story went public. I mean honestly who cares?

And personally I don't think it was a stupid decision. I also don't think it would have been stupid for them to allow it. The whole thing is a nothingburger :)

And I have that GA comic! That is a bit of a misnomer though...there is a lot more outrage these days over comic related stuff than back then when only comic nerds cared. The problem with comics becoming mainstream is the prying eyes of those looking to make a big deal out of everything are upon them.

I mean we live in a country now where Lin-Manuel Miranda has to apologize because the Latinx actors he cast in his film weren't dark enough! Anything and everything can be problematic and I guarantee you twitter would have been aflame with "Batman is a kids character hE sHoUlD nOt bE gOiNg DoWn On wOmEn!1!!1 THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!" and then the same media that is covering it now like it is such a dumb decision would be talking about how upset the fans are and DC is ruining families. Its all a game...

Yeah the overwhelming majority of the responses I've seen are comedic dunking on DC, not anything that serious. Ironically had they just let the scene happen there'd probably be way less discussion about it.

Does anyone else have issues loading this site up? Half the time it gives me errors...been doing this for weeks.

I saw the shortest length summer dress on a woman today. Cheeks out on a thursday afternoon. Almost lost my damn neck. I'd be surprised if she wasn't a model too.

Snyder tweeted something regarding the whole Bat/Cat thing... :hehe:

Possibly too R-rated for SHH's standards.

FYI for any Amazon Prime members here, I just saw they're currently offering a ton of add-on channels (AMC+, Paramount+, Starz, Showtime, Epix, etc) for .99¢/mo for two months.
