it seems that the Quantum Relm is going to be the MCU version of the negative zone from the comics that the Fantastic 4 would often visit.

It would be cool if we got a cameo from Fantastic Four microverse villain Psycho-Man

I liked the trailer, kind of hope the Quantum world looks different than some places in GOTG since the designs can look similar.
I kind of hope Scott does mess up a bit and helps Kang, would be an interesting cliffhanger and the big set up needed.

Yeah, does have that F4 adventure feel to it. I think the Ant-Family is more interesting and fun than having Ant Man alone, especially with 3 generations in there which is that much rarer in superhero films.

Scott/Rudd is best with a group. I liked his Avenger stuff too, only expecting Lang, Wasp, and his daughter to get fighting scenes. Don't think the older ones will be doing anything.

The trailer definitely strikes a different more intense tone than the previous films in the series so I’m intrigued.

Probably due to the whole movie seeming like the big set up of the major storyline Avengers will have. The previous Ant-Man plots were more for the character not much major impact, only the credit scene for part 2 will was massive since it let us know he wouldn't be snapped.

They might have to with Kang on the scene! Yeah, he's best in a group bouncing off others and joking with them.

Maybe, but it's also a legally dissimilar Microverse. If the Microverse and Negative Zone can exist side by side, I think there's room for the Negative Zone and Quantum Realm in the MCU.

Maybe the can't legally use the word "Microverse" like they couldn't use "Mutants"?

Because the rights to the Microverse and the Micronauts aren't owned by Marvel anymore so they can't use that. That's why they had to come up with a different name.

Toy rights. But Paramount own the film rights. They're not doing anything with it at the moment though as they've removed the Micronauts from their schedule even though a live action film was planned for years.

Hasbro and Paramount were apparently going to combine Micronauts with GI Joe, Rom the Space Knight and others to create their own cinematic universe.

When they reported, that Scott will go into the Quantum Realmin Ant-Man 2, to save Janet, I was hoping for it to be like that.
The Quantum Realm seems to borrow a few of these concepts.

I hope that stingray-creature they ride in the trailer will be the pterodactyls from the comics.

I mean, they're practically setting it up anyway with Kate Bishop, America Chavez, Eli Bradley...probably others that I'm missing.
