Maybe. Monica’s inclusion in WandaVision and now that show sharing the same screenwriter as CM2 doesn’t feel like a coincidence, at any rate.

For me, I’m all about Doctor Strange and Multiverse of Madness. Once Sam Raimi was attached that movie went from a shoulder shrug to my top 5 anticipated cbms on the horizon.

Very curious about Shang Chi too. I’m a sucker for Kung Fu/ martial arts flicks.

The Raimi boost was so amazing for that film. Not just because he’s a top director who’s already had great success with CBMs and one of the key pioneers of the CBM renaissance, but because his other material and experience make him a perfect fit for Strange and the world of mysticism and supernatural horror. I really cannot wait for this one!

I too am more invested in Maria Rambeau. I really liked her and Carol’s dynamic, it was friendly yet felt sort of romantic.

But for the sequel I definitely see some villain seeing her as leverage against Carol and killing her.

Funny enough the first video I saw about this was it being celebrated that it was her and not Larson directing from mecharandom. Personally I'm skeptical. I haven't been particularly into their more recent director hires movies, starting from Spider-Man Homecoming, I mean, really starting from Avengers, IM 3 and Thor TDW. But recent movies haven't been my cup of tea as well.

Watching Far From Home and I came up with a fun idea I wanted to share because I like it too much. We were discussing who might be the big "Avengers" character who would be in the movie they could put on the poster, and it got us on to another idea, where the film starts with Peter couch surfing across the world. Hulk's place, Valkyrie's place, Falcon and Bucky's place, T'Challa's place, etc. He could send postcards back to Aunt May and MJ.
