Might be suffering brain damage but tonight’s episode was really good.

One of them looked Ozymandias inspired. Those Thrawn Troopers are hardcore.
BAYLAN!!!! BAYLAN!!!!!!!!!!!For as bad as the writing of this show is, at least this episode kept my interest? I don't really *like* any of it per se, but there's a lot of things that I go "neat" to. At the very least, I continue to engrossed in Sabine's character, and learning more about Baylen is worthwhile. No Ahsoka certainly helps.
I could do without the Thrawne stuff, it does nothing for me. All this galaxy hopping is just kind of washing over me with it's nonsense. I'm just laughing and rolling with it.
I still hate Filoni, and he made it even worse with that opening and lead up to the title. Promptly screw off with that.
That's more Poe Dameron hair...Ezra has his Aladdin hair again. All is right in the world.
So Thrawn’s been living in the world of Elden Ring for the last decade....I approve.
You say that like you weren't living in a castle next door.So Thrawn’s been living in the world of Elden Ring for the last decade....I approve.
Let's hope he has better martial arts skill then normie Musk.Dad Bod Thrawn.
What? When Thrawn learns Anakin trained Ahsoka....
The Thrawn troopers were really cool. I don’t know if Baylan’s an existing Star Wars character or invented for the show but he’s been great from the beginning. Should be good to see Sabine now she’s no longer on a search quest, and I’m also looking forward to seeing how she interacts with and fights alongside Ezra. Also looking forward to seeing what this Ezra is like next episode when he gets more minutes.Well compared to last week's episode I actually thought this was much better. Sure, not a lot of stuff might have happened, but I really liked how the villains got their time to shine in this episode, especially Baylan and Thrawn.
Loved his intro with The Star Destroyer ominously, looming into frame and then the reveal with Thrawn troopers and that whatever that cool sounding theme was they had going on in the background.
It was really well executed IMO and while I do wish they didn't make those closeups of him look so awkward I never doubted Lars Mikkelsen wouldn't put the work in performance wise and in that regard he killed it IMO.
He has such a great screen presence.
Also, it was nice finally seeing a bit more warmth and personality from Sabine.
The second canon Thrawn novel was a sort of Godfather Part II story about Thrawn and Vader on a mission together while cutting back to the Clone Wars when Thrawn met and teamed up with Anakin. By the end of the novel Thrawn deduces that the two men are one and the same. What?

Thanks for the info. I like Shin too. I hope they are adopted in other Star Wars media, comics, animation, games.Baylan and Shin are new, Filoni creations, as shown by their names.
The CC called the troopers Night Troopers, so make of that as you will.
