Jurassic World - Part 7

I must admit when I went to see Avengers and the trailer played there were audible laughs as well. I still maintain a better story about having to save the dinosaurs may have breathed some new light into the series, but it is what it is.

HAHA YES!!!!!!!!

There was another series of dinosaur documentaries I watched a lot as a kid. The episode I enjoyed the most was where one of the hosts was turning into a dinosaur, so the other host had to go on a search to find a cure, all the while learning/teaching dinosaur facts along the way. He doesn't find the cure in time, and returns to find the other host is now a dinosaur for 80s glasses and a porn star mustache. Here's a promo for them:

Wow thank you for posting this. Nostalgia level 100000000!!! I loved dinosaurs as a kid. In the 90s dinosaurs were all the rage. I saw jp when I was three and since then I had a passion for dinosaurs and a loved everything about them. This included things having to do with dinosaurs like Godzilla. I watched documentaries and had a display of dinosaur toys which I called Jurassic park.
Sadly as I grew my love fizzed out and I miss those days of utter fascination from such amazing creatures.

I hope this movie can bring back the dinosaur hype that was so huge back then I miss those fond days of watching documentaries, acting out scenes , and playing with toys. I miss being a kid sometimes.

It's not just you. I went to Mad Max with a friend and we both laughed at the trailer for this. It looks genuinely awful.

I feel like they are holding a lot of things back Judi g from every trailer and TV spot I've seen. They haven't showed much at all.

Despite having my slight reservations I do think this will probably be better than Termiantor: Genysis. Then again that's probably not saying much.

^ I don't think there's anybody doubting that. :funny:

I am still amazed how great the CGI of the first film is 22 years later:

I hope this one lives up to that quality and return the Jurassic Park franchise to the Oscar nominated club.

3 weeks from today! ****ing so excited! :woot:
I really can't wait. I have arranged to see JW with a bunch of people who are all fans of the series.

Hopefully we hear snippets from the soundtrack soon.

I have decent hopes for this but I know this wont touch the 1st one. If this movie is somewhere higher then lost world and jp3 but a tad below the 1st ill be happy. It can be worse then jp3 it just cant.

Nice none of my friends are really into the same stuff as me. So movies I usually go to alone haha.

:mrk:Still one of my favourite sequences ever!

Me too buddy :)

I love how it pretty much confirms that [blackout] Howard's character frees the T-Rex [/blackout]

The frenemy of my frenemy is my....I don't know where i was going with that.

Saw the Gyrosphere vid, makes me think that people in real life will try and recreate that concept for zoos and safari parks like they did with the automatic doors in Star Trek.

I feel like this could either massively underperform or possibly bomb, but I don't quite know why. I'm just not terribly interested in it, but I'll see it anyway.

If Deadline's article about its current tracking is accurate, it certainly won't do either unless the reviews and word of mouth are terrible.

I think it looks like a fun return to the franchise with enough balance of newness and faithfulness to please fans and those looking for something different.

I hope.

I just feel like this is Spielberg's baby, like Indiana Jones, and if he's not directing it, it's just someone trying to be Steven Spielberg. I had the same problem with JP3.

I have that problem with J.J. Abrams too, specifically Super 8. The whole time I'm thinking, "Wow, good job making a Spielberg movie. Too bad Spielberg didn't make it himself".
